Thanks a lot for your help Antony,

I read all of the changelog fixes on the link provided but I couldnt see anything about HDMI / Audio fixes, but I guess that there's many undocumented tweaks, updates and fixes in there too, i'm gonna try and update to the latest BIOS (0060) as advised, I downloaded the 0061 a few days ago but it got removed for now. I'll update this topic whatever it fixes my issue with audio or not, thanks again!

Awesome thanks a lot N.Scott.Pearson ! I heard it disables GPU acceleration when it's through USB C though, no idea if it's true? Gonna give it a try anyway!

For features in previous SDKs that go beyond basic depth streaming, it is safest to assume that there will not be official Intel-built versions of these features in SDK 2.0, and that you will need to use SDK 2.0 in combination with similar modules in software platforms such as OpenCV instead.

Intel ssd 540s M.2 freezing randomly (win10)

Hi INTEL support team !! I have intel ssd 540s M.2 120Gb wich is causing weird issues and I want you to help me to identify the cause of this.

My motherboard is Asrcok A320M-DGS with the lastest bios version and the lastest ssd firmaware version.

The pc is new and I started expericing theese freezing problems  after restarting it the ssd wasn't detected at startup so only way to turn pc was to power off button and on agan .I updated bios and  freezing still occurs but not with this „not found boot device“ after restarting now pc turns normaly without this error and then  I found that I am not using the lastest ssd firmaware so I updated it.Everying works just fine but the problem with freezing still remains and its like hard freeze mouse stop moving and keyboard does't work so only way is to restart pc.So after all theese monts of expericing this issues I think that this is not related to sleep/hibernate prosses because never occurs when pc goes to sleep or hibernate not problem at all .

The main issues is causing random pc freezes when watcing you tube, playing music or instaling games there is no particular scenario that provokes freezing just happens randomly so its not related to sleep/hibernate issues .

This occurs once a month or in worst case 2-3 per  month it depends how often pc is used.It is not a big problem but I would like to consult with you intel support team for any tips how to fix this issue.

For  the final iI would like to ask some question:

Is windows 10 option turn off hard disk to never affect ssd or only hdd and can it help resloving this issue or its bad ot turnt it off ?

My motherboard has option called Agressive Sata device sleep set to auto .Can this cause ssd to freeze becasue of the mobo forcing ssd to go devsleep when its not needed ?

Is devsleep controled by motherboard with this option or ssd itslef cotrols this option I would really like to know ?

In my opinion this is devsleep issues with this particular ssd and motherboard but I want to hear your opinion thank you in advance intel support team!

NUC7 - CPU Temperature probe giving -263°C after BIOS update

$

Hello,

As advised on this topic : Re: NUC7i7BNH broken sensor after bios update 0060 I post a new topic about this issue, giving as much details as I can.

As many NUC7 users reported, (NUC7I3BNK for me) when I updated my BIOS from the factory one to a newest revision, the temperature reported on Linux based systems is -263°C.

PLEASE be sure to note the following:

- The CPU temperature reported was the RIGHT one using the NUC with the factory firmware.

- It is now impossible to downgrade to factory firmware because of the security changes introduced with revision 0050 "Due to a security enhancement, it will not be possible to go to any BIOS earlier than BIOS 0050." Source : https://downloadmirror.intel.com/27397/eng/BN_0060_ReleaseNotes.pdf

- I dont know when this bug was introduced, but it happens at least since the 0052 revision,

- I have tried with 5 differents NUC7I3BNK, I ordered and assembled dozens in my company lately so I could try many NUC with many BIOS revisions, data was consistent, works on factory BIOS, doesnt work after "recent" revisions.

- I thought it might be a bug with new BIOS revisions, or maybe just the CPU sensor ID that got modified for some reason in new BIOS revisions and Linux systems are reading the wrong probe by default.

- I know that Linux is not officially supported (yet) by Intel for NUC's at least, but it might be an "easy" fix that would help many people, specially considering it was working well with old firmwares.

I would like to know if you could consider fixing it with the next revisions, even if I guess that you have some other major fixes to work on lately

Thanks a lot for your help Intel !

Hello NSkiba,

Thank you for your response,

Up to this point I would need you to please provide me with a screenshot of the problem. This is to have a better insight and attempt to find a solution. If possible I would also like to have a video of when you start the program and when it goes from "transparent" to "solid" so we can have more information.

Hi Phil,

I had responded to your previous post under "Disabling AMT":
https://communities.intel.com/thread/119990

Now I have a little more detail as far as the number of systems you are needing to address.  Neither the first or second options will work for you.  The only option will be remote configuration.

Have you already provisioned your systems?

Also, now that you have this open, I'll go ahead and close out the other one and we can proceed on this case to keep things organized.

Regards,
Michael

Hello Kautsar,

Thank you for your response,

I see that the driver that you currently have is not the latest one. I actually checked under the manufacturer of the computer but the driver that they have is older than the one you currently have. Since this is the case I would like to try to update the driver to the latest version we have. Here is the link:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27412/Graphics-Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-60-?product=88967

Also, please follow these steps to install the driver:

  1. Unzip the file to a designated location or folder.
  2. Open Device Manager:

    • For Windows 8 and Windows 8.1: Press Windows + keys together
    •
    • For Windows 10: Right-click Windows Start icon
  3. Click Yes when prompted for permission from User Account Control.
  4. Expand the Display adapters section.
  5. Right-click the Intel® graphics entry and select Update Driver Software.
NoteThe graphics entry may be Microsoft Basic Display Adapter* if no Intel® Graphics Driver has been previously installed.
  6. Click Browse my computer for driver software.
  7. Click Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.
  8. Click Have Disk.
  9. Click Browse and access the directory where the driver files are found.
  10. Access a folder called Graphics.
  11. Select the file called igdlh64 or igdlh.
  12. Click Open, then click OK, and finally click Next.  Drivers are now being installed.
  13. Restart your computer.
I hope you find this helpful.

Regards,
David V

Hello mimu88

Thank you for joining the community

I understand that you are looking for assistance on setting up a script to turn on/off the NUC. But I will like to share with you that only operating system supported in the NUC by Intel is Windows® 10, 64-bit*, see the reference link below

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005628/mini-pcs.html

However, you can verify your operating system communities for assistance on your situation
