Can you please point to which message in this thread you think answers our questions? The thread is explicitly marked as "Not Answered", so I don't really understand why you thought it would be.
From your reply I guess this is not an issue that can be/is going to be resolved through a BIOS fix....I suspect that means you're going to be getting a fair number of units back from people then. I've already had one replacement that displayed the same fault as the original, so mine have already been returned, but I suspect there were a fair number of other people expecting rather more in the way of 'support' from the number one chip producer.
I came into this thread fully expecting Intel to resolve the issue eventually, I'm really quite surprised to be leaving it in this way. My participation in this discussion has ended, disappointed.
