Hi JustMex (from JustGringo :-))

Don't know if you are still active, but I came across your posting when thinking of using PIR sensors myself.

After playing a bit, I got a PIR sensor to work with the @AlexT's uClibc @alextversion of Linux and Python on a Galileo Gen 1

(see https://communities.intel.com/message/241845#241845 for a discussion of different versions)

and wiring86 from Emutext Ltd. emutex/wiring-x86 · GitHub

I don't think it will work with the XDK IoT version and I couldn't get PIR to work using node.js, maybe because I don't know enough.

I also got servos and a motor control board to work.

Anyway here is the code for the PIR and Servo, and the original Servo code done by  Jack Pien (http://www.jackpien.com)

Thanks Jack & Emutext :-)

Regards

rgb
