Hi Allan,
I have checked the BIOS, it is up to date. I have run the diagnostic tool several times including burn in mode and the result is always a Pass. Does a Pass mean definitively that the processor is OK ?.
I have also tried looking at windows logs to find other errors that happened at the same time, but that is quite a job and I did not have any success.
I have included the details view of the error log below, there seems to be a lot of information there but it means little to me but perhaps this is out of your remit.
